Let The Light Of Christ Shine Through You and the Love of Christ Be Your Guide

This is the foundation of both the Stargazer Lily PA and the Stargazer Lily Worship and Praise. This statement is read on every show. I feel complied not to just say or write these words: Let The Light Of Christ Shine Through You and the Love of Christ Be Your Guide, but show you this statement in action. 

Today’s devotions comes from 1John 4:7 “God's Love and Ours. Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God”.

Jesus LOVES everyone.

Jesus was a Friend to All, Including Sinners.

In Mark 2: 15-17 “And it happened that He was reclining at the table in his house, and many tax collectors and sinners were dining with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many of them, and they were following Him. When the scribes of the Pharisees saw that He was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they said to His disciples, “Why is He eating and drinking with tax collectors and sinners?” And hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners”. 

Jesus Loves All 

Luke 10:30-37 The Good Samaritan 

“But a Samaritan, who was on a journey, came upon him; and when he saw him, he felt compassion, and came to him and bandaged up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them; and he put him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn and took care of him. On the next day he took out two [d]denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and said, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I return I will repay you.’ Which of these three do you think proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into the robbers’ hands?” And he said, “The one who showed mercy toward him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do the same”.

Jesus Forgives 

Luke 17 1:1-4 “He said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ forgive him”.

As you are reading these words let me encourage you to walk in love. Let us become more like Jesus Christ by growing in holiness and living to glorify Him. Walking in love means: loving others, being kind, having compassion, empathy, and deference for one another. Most importantly forgiving each other.
